16 Reasons Why Your Marriage May Fail in 2016

We are beginning a new year. This is a time for resolutions. It is also a time for change. Often, it is a time to end a marriage or begin a new relationship.

The following are 16 reasons why your marriage may end in 2016:

1. Your spouse is having an affair and there is nothing left of your marriage to salvage.

2. You have been growing apart for years. The children are out of the house and you do not want to spend any more time with your spouse.

3. You are coming out of the closet and it is time to end your marriage and follow your true self.

4. Alcohol has reared its ugly head once too often and that drunken episode on New Year’s Eve was the last straw.

5. Your spouse got too frisky on New Year’s Eve with your boss and your job is in trouble, along with your marriage.

6. You and your spouse have been having financial problems and there is no end in sight.

7. Your spouse refuses to work and just stays at home on the couch while you are tired of being the only bread winner.

8. Your family cannot stay off of their screens. This includes television, computers, iPads, and iPhones.

9. Social media and Facebook are now a major cause of divorce in one-third of all divorces. A year ago, the percentage was one-quarter. People no longer communicate.

10. Your husband is addicted to pornography on the internet and you have finally had enough. You find him on Ashley Madison as well.

11. There is a history of domestic violence and that last slap across the face is the final straw!

12. Your spouse is extremely controlling, monitors everything that you do, and you are suffocating. Finally, enough is enough.

13. Your spouse has a problem with gambling and has lost most of your savings through going to the casinos or gambling online.

14. Your spouse is addicted to pain medicine, cocaine, or other substances with the result that not only is her or his life being destroyed, but your marriage as well.
