January 18, 2010: The myth of their marital bliss by Jeffrey Cottrill It isn't just patients that are breathing their last gasps in Noah Wyle's emergency room. The former Dr. John Carter also has a dying marriage to deal with. The actor and ER star has been separated from his wife, makeup artist Tracy Warbin, for a couple of months. "Tracy Wyle and Noah Wyle, who separated in late October 2009, have confirmed they have entered into a mediation process," a representative for the couple told People on Friday. "Neither has legally filed for divorce. Tracy and Noah live in separate residences; however, their two children... see both parents daily."
"They're cooperative with each other," a friend of the estranged couple told the magazine, "and have put the interests of their children ahead of anything else." The Wyles have a seven-year-old son, Owen, and a four-year-old daughter, Auden. The couple met while both were working on the movie The Myth of Fingerprints in 1996. Wyle proposed to Warbin on Valentine's Day, 1999, and they married in May of the following year. They lived in a ranch formerly owned by Bo Derek, in California's Santa Ynez Valley. Before meeting Warbin, Wyle dated actors Courteney Cox and Samantha Mathis among others. Noah Wyle, 38, starred on ER from its first season in 1994-95 until he left the cast in 2005; he returned to the show for five episodes, including the series finale, last year. His film credits include supporting roles in A Few Good Men, Donnie Darko, and W.
