December 3, 2006: Counseling helping McCartney cope with divorce In an interview in Britain’s Radio Times magazine, ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney extolled the virtues of professional counseling during a stressful life event like divorce. He said he sought comfort first in writing music, but needed additional help to cope with the breakup of his marriage to Heather Mills McCartney. The divorce has been the subject of numerous sensational tabloid articles. The couple married in 2002; they have a three-year-old daughter, Beatrice. Previous stories: |
