Kate Walsh reaches financial agreement with soon-to-be ex.

It's been more than a year, but Private Practice star Kate Walsh is finally near the end of her brutal divorce from movie executive Alex Young.

On Thursday, a judge in Los Angeles dismissed Young's claim to spousal support from Walsh, according to celebrity-news website TMZ. However, Young will receive half of Walsh's earnings for her roles in Grey's Anatomy and spinoff Private Practice, from episodes she worked on during the marriage.

Walsh, 42, will hold on to the marital home, but has agreed to pay Young $627,000 for his share of the community property. The former couple is dividing furniture and artwork evenly between them.

"I'm very relieved," Walsh told TMZ as she left the court Thursday with her divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser. "I'm just happy."

After Young, 38, filed for divorce in December 2008, Walsh tried to block him from claiming spousal support. Young's legal team then requested a deposition from Disney/ABC to find out how much her contract with them was really worth, in an attempt to get a multimillion-dollar settlement. Each of the pair holds a restraining order against the other.

Walsh and Young married in September 2007 and separated only 14 months later.

Kate Walsh plays Dr. Addison Montgomery on Private Practice and in the occasional guest appearance on Grey's Anatomy. She also has a supporting role in the current movie thriller Legion.
