Hugh Hefner's wife wants a divorce -- and lots of money.

If Playboy founder Hugh Hefner wants to keep on messing around with his Playmates, he'd better start figuring out how to do it on a smaller budget. His wife Kimberly Conrad -- from whom he has been estranged since 1998 -- has finally filed divorce papers and reportedly is seeking $5.2 million plus half of the couple's estate, Mapleton.

Conrad, 47, also hopes to get another $40,000 in child support for each month she and Conrad remain married after September. The pair has two sons, 19-year-old Marston, and Cooper, who turns 18 on Tuesday. Both are still in school.

"I was surprised and saddened to learn of press reports," Hefner said on Wednesday, as quoted in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, "that Kimberly Hefner, from whom I have been separated over 10 years, has apparently filed suit claiming that I owe her $5 million."

Hefner, 83, married Conrad in 1989, when she was Playmate of the Year. Conrad's first divorce filing was in 1998, but she withdrew the papers when Hefner told her he didn't want the divorce. The couple revised their prenuptial agreement and has since lived on adjacent properties, Hefner in the famous Playboy Mansion and Conrad with the boys in Mapleton.

The latter estate sold for more than $10 million in July.

Hugh Hefner's first marriage was to Mildred Williams, from 1949 to 1959; he has two children from that marriage, both now in their 50s. He is currently involved with 19-year-old identical twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, as well as Crystal Harris.
