January 14, 2010: Not very sporting of you by Jeffrey Cottrill Sports icons Greg Norman and Chris Evert have ended their own game. The Palm Beach Post reported this week that the Australian golfer and the American tennis player secretly divorced in early December.
Norman, 54, and his divorce lawyer looked over the paperwork in Florida, without Evert present. The couple is abiding by their prenuptial agreement and not exchanging any money in their divorce settlement. The dissolution became official on December 5. The marriage had lasted not even a year and a half. Norman and Evert married in June 2008, at a resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. They have a total of five children from their previous marriages. Both Chris Evert, 55, and Greg Norman are all-time superstars and record-holders in their respective sports. Norman was considered the world's top-ranked golfer for many years, and Evert dominated female tennis during the late 1970s.
