"Desperate Housewife" Eve Longoria might need to remove the "wife" suffix from her title, now that she and NBA star Tony Parker have finalized their divorce.

The couple, who married in 2007, have had an unusual journey through the legal -- even by celebrity divorce standards. That's because, although Longoria filed for divorce in California, Parker filed in Texas, which has a less complex divorce process (it's widely accepted that California has the most complicated family law system in the country).

The couple had a pre-nuptial ("prenup") agreement, but it's unclear whether it was entirely enforced or required judicial modification. Indeed, many people believe that a prenup is carved in stone, only to discover upon divorce that there are aspects -- or sometimes entire clauses or conditions -- that don't hold up in court.
