By Josh D. Simon Elon Musk, the entrepreneur behind PayPal, Tesla Motors and SpaceX, has decided to fight fire with fire and rebuff his soon-to-be ex wife Justine's revealing and intimate blog posts by publishing a version of his own. Saying that he wanted to "correct the record," and ensure that his silence wasn't speaking for him, Musk wrote a 1,500 word blog on The Huffington Post, in which he attempted to rebuff a variety of allegations put forth by his wife on her blog "Love, soul & vision." Among many grizzly details, Musk pointed out that his divorce was not sparked by an affair with actress and new fiancee Talulah Riley. He also pointed out that, contrary to his wife's claim, he wasn't broke and in fact had offered her an $80 million dollar settlement -- which she rejected. He also pointed out that his bill for legal and accounting services has topped 4 million (do you think his lawyers and accountants accept PayPal?). The battling couple have five children, who, when they see their parents taking to the cyber-waves to duke it out, must wonder if there are seven children in the family. |
