Pop diva Christina Aguilera finalizes divorce from music executive.

A decade ago, she was seen as a major rival to Britney Spears in the pop world. But singer Christina Aguilera hasn't been so lucky lately. First there was the hullabaloo over her performance at this year's Super Bowl, in which she flubbed the lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner" and then tripped on her way offstage. Then, while she did a lot better at the Grammys with her Aretha Franklin tribute, she followed that with another big stumble and fall. And on Monday -- Valentine's Day -- Aguilera got "Stripped" of her wedding ring, officially ending her five years of marriage to music marketing executive Jordan Bratman.

The 30-year-old singer came to an agreement with her soon-to-be-ex-husband on joint child custody of their three-year-old son, Max. According to RadarOnline.com, the couple has also reached a settlement on "property, assets and debts".

The couple was still living together up to this week, although they had officially separated in October, the same month that Aguilera submitted her divorce filing. The divorce will not become final until April 15, however, because Bratman and Aguilera didn't file their paperwork through the court initially.

Aguilera and Bratman began dating in 2002. They announced their engagement in February 2005 and married that November in Napa Valley, California.

This was Aguilera's first marriage. She began dating musician Matt Rutler during the filming of Burlesque, her film debut, which was released to mixed reviews last year.

Christina Aguilera began her career as an adolescent on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, alongside Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. She shot to worldwide fame in 1999 with the hit singles "Genie in a Bottle", "What a Girls Wants", and "Come on over Baby". Her most recent album, Bionic, reached gold in Australia and Austria, and her song "Bound to You", from Burlesque, received a Golden Globe Award nomination.
