Hello, I recently found out my wife was cheating on me. What percentage of our assets will she get if there is proof of an affair?

Hi, from Washington state, I've consulted with 2 divorce lawyers already and asked the same question, up here, they don't take any infidelity into account, both lawyers told me, it's a 50/50 state no matter what the reason, so hey, thats ok with me, been married 30 yrs, this is his third affair that I know of, always been faithful,loyal, good wife and mother, always worked, what the hell???? life just isn't fair sometimes, past most of the grief, ready to move on. It might depend on where you live, and what court district you file with.

I don't know what percentage it would be, though.
I'd recommend finding a reputable attorney who offers a free no-obligation consultation. Talk with him or her and figure out where you probably stand in the case.
