He left the day after Christmas one and a half years ago to go overseas as usual for his rotation job with an oilfield support company. Little did I know that he was walking out of my life, never to return. Two months later the emails started coming in from a girl in Spain. Did I know him? Was I married to him? Were we seperated? Was it me that he sent flowers to on Valentine's day instead of his mother? The lady was obsessive. Well over 100 emails from her. After the first one or two, it was obvious what was going on. He had fallen for someone and had no intention of coming home. I am still devastated. Still living in depression. I was 60 years old and he was 50. The age difference never seemed to be a problem. The big problem was the great weight he left on my shoulders. In debt (now I know why), a 20 year old son with problems, a job that was about to fold. The list goes on.
