I have 2 kids one 12 daughter and the other 16 son. They dont want to live with their mom anymore and want to move in with me and i want them to.Exwife just starting the divorce paperwork. Can iI move the out of their moms home? Does my wife have any say in this matter

Your wife will have a lot of legal say in the matter, from my understanding. It is usually sort of hard to get custody awarded to the father--and very difficult for men to receive great visitation rights.
Make sure that you have verifiable documentation of any claims you intend to make. And prove to the court that you are a great caretaker and provider to your children. Evidence of your emotional bond with the children will also greatly help you. Sometimes children also have a legal say in divorce cases, but I don't know details about that. I wish you good luck. It sounds like you have the children's best interests at heart, which is a very, very good thing. | |
