my soon to be ex and i filed a separation agreement in north carolina, we must wait one year before filing for divorce in nc. she now lives in germany, is a german citizen, and we had discussed filing for divorce in germany.

i want to divorce asap and would like to know if anyone could tell me anything about getting divorce papers from germany, we also have a german marriage certificate, and if north carolina would accept the divorce if it happened before one year was up.

any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks
