My wife and I both want a divorce. We have no kids, no assets and we make the same salary. She wants to go back to her Country (in Asia) as soon as possible, and I want to move back to my province of origin: Québec. We got married in Qc, 10 years ago, but we live in NB….she’s a permanent resident, in Canada (not citizen)
So, my questions are – Do we really need to be separated for a year? What if she leaves next month and never come back, am I going to stay married to her, forever? Thx! You must Login / Register to post a reply.

You may want to consult a local lawyer for an initial consult to see the difficulty. You can also check with a Legal Aide society
Rob P.S. There is a blog that may have something helpful http://www.ebarbouratty.com/divorcebloghome.htm |
