Title: ex not sticking to custody schedule
Hello, I have been divorced for 5 yrs from a user/abuser/sociopath/narcissist. We have 2 children, ages 14 and 20. My problem is that my ex, although we have 50/50 custody with a 2/2/5 schedule, he is constantly needing to change the schedule and wants me to always cover our son on his time. He has remarried and she lives in Canada, so he is living half time here and half there. He has put our son in the middle of this almost impossible situation. My boyfriend (whom he has tried to get fired from his job, has physically threatened, and has been constantly insulted and put down) has had enough and is tire of "doing him favors" and being "dumped on" . I am in the middle, feel like I am being used all the time, and of course, love my son and want to do the best by him. I am always made to be the bad guy and I am so tired of all this. Any suggestions? We are trying therapy again, but, since my ex will say and do anything to get his way, I doubt we will get very far. Thanks
