My 15 1/2 year old daughter and her stepmom have been verbally abusive to each other for a few years. Physically, my daughter has not touched the stepmom but the stepmom has physically hurt my daughter on two occasions, most recently by throwing her legs into a wooden cabinet face resulting in two cuts to her foot. The stepmom is, as of 4 weeks ago, not living in the home anymore. Is there something else I or my daughter should be doing, like filing a complaint?
