My children are in Michigan and I do not live there. I have been involved with parental alienation or PAS since the separation started in January 2005. I do not get any help from the family court process to see my kids. I am a father that is only good for child support in the courts eyes.
I have created a book about my true story called "Divorce Rape" which is now a second edition. I am trying to educate others now in how unjust the family court system is. Please share your thoughts about this type of child abuse that is being allowed by these courts. The book is available at: Website: http://stores.lulu.com/abecfathers Regards, Abe C. I agree with you. I live in Washington state. My wife left me with our two kids, now she has come back. When my kids were having legal troubles, I disciplined them. She used that as an excuse to get my kids to turn against me. I was so busy with college, trying to find a teaching job, etc, that I didnt she was doing. It was being done right in front of my eyes. I just didnt think she would do it. Anyway, she alienated my youngest son, who has coping issues anyway. She then snagged my oldest. She wouldnt let me see them unless I gave her money, so I got a lawyer and took her to court. She has used that to even alienate me more. The courts dont realize how much PAS is almost like a mental illness. My lawyer keeps telling me these things take time, but in the process the situation only gets worse. PAS needs to be officially recognized in divorce cases.
