I go to court tomorrow and I've been doing a ton of due diligence to be better prepared.I can't find anything on avoiding supervised visitation. Now I'm not sure if this will come up but my attorney says it may.I have custody of my daughter because her mom passed away and I recently had a son born.I'm not with the mother but she's pulling out all the stops and he thinks that this could be one.I want to avoid supervised visitation.I'm an excellent father,my daughter is ten and I've raised her on my own since she was one yr old and she is on the honor role, etc.I filed for visitation and support just because i knew the judge would ask so I hoped it looked good that I included that in my motion as opposed to just visitation.Anyway I want to know what the legal guidelines are in Illinois because I've found a couple non official sites that show reasons for SV and I def don't fall into any of those categories so I'd like something more official.
Thanks in advance. You must Login / Register to post a reply.
