Title: Fair custody
I have scoured the internet far and wide, but unable to find any helpful resorces. My x and I are currently in the process of divorce. We have 2 young children (6 and 1) and don't want to split them up. We both want equal time with them, but during the school year that would be hard seeing as we would be living in 2 seprate school districts. Any suggestions on a custody plan?

Helllo,

A couple of suggestions

1) Although you live in separate school districts, can you parent not in the children’s school distinct live close enough to drive them to and from school

2) I dont know were you live but there are places like Kindercare and Childtime which if you can drive them there, they have bus service to some of the area school

Good luck, feel free to post back if you want to correspond

Apparently one of you is moving out of your current school district. If you want equal time with the kids, the answer is simple: don't move out of the school district. Then, you can have all sorts of 50/50 plans (week on/week off, 5/2/2/5, etc.) that give you equal time with the kids. So, what is more important - equal time with the kids or moving to a place which makes equal time difficult?
