Title: Divorce involving a 3 month old infant
I have been married in Louisiana for two years and I went to go visit my parents for a week with my 3 month old daughter in Texas. On that same week my husband filed for divorce because he thought I was not coming back with the baby. My intentions were simply to visit with the baby so I can spend some quality time with my family and get some rest because I had a very difficult delivery. Hes asking for full custody of our daughter and he has what you call Aspergers Syndrome, for people who don't know what that is, its a autistic disability that effects the brain and how you talk to people. He has abused me in the past and he lives with his parents, his sister, her husband and their two kids. He put us on welfare and living in a trailer that is not livable condition for our daughter. We have a hearing conference on the 17th of this month, and I'd like to know what are my chances in keeping the baby. I'd like to get some advice on what should I do and if there is something I could do to show how much I want my newborn baby living with her mother and would like to work this out with her father so that way we can be both in her life.
