When did Amicus Attorney's appear? Has anyone had a good experience with one? I have only seen one and it was a disaster. This Amicus had no idea or didn't want to have an idea of what was really going on in this child's life, made her mind up early using a 2 minute conversation that one parent had with another attorney office during an emergency situation, and taking the story of a great-actor, never getting any clue of the real background of either parent. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO COME TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU TWO PARENTS------DO NOT TAKE IT TO FAMILY LAW COURT IN HOUSTON, TX-----The Judge has no means in which to actually recieve the whole truth. Your children are the ones who will pay for this!

TODAY--Aug 10, 2011, will be the very last day that this 10 year old girl will live her life as a child. Tomorrow she moves in with a promiscuous teenage-acting mother who has not ever had custody of her--and for GREAT reasons. Thanks to Judge Farr for not being able to get the whole picture, and Lauren Durso for painting the wrong picture to him. Do NOT EVER use an attorney office that will use Ms. Durso for an amicus attorney.

This sounds like a clear case of how divorce can have a much more profound effect on the children involved, particularly when the parents aren't mature.

It is a shame and that is why my company prides itself in getting people the truth, be it the attorneys or the victim.
