married to a woman for 14 months . She has a child from a previous relationship. The child took my last name but was not adopted. Do I have any legal responsibility for this child if we divorce

No, that child even though you love, care for her enough for her to USE your name. She is not yours by blood. this by law is grounds that you don't have any financial rights.

No, you did not adopt the child and the child is not yours. I am sorry for your marriage decline. Hopefully, try to be their emotionally for the child even if it is not yours. Children deserve to have a good father whether bio or not.
