Title: Needing help in PA
Here's my dilema, my ex-husband and I never went through the courts for our child support agreement (big mistake). We have been divorced for four years now and at first it was ok because he was paying me more than enough every month. This all changed a couple of years ago and now he pays me what he can every month (which sometimes is nothing at all). It's always a new excuse, first it was because he was still in college and had no money, then when he graduated it was that he didn't have a good job, now he's got a job and his wife is in school (she'll graduate this summer) and she has no job. He told me that if we go to court he'll lose his house and end up getting a divorce because the court will end up making him pay more than he can afford. Now he only pays me a $100 a month (or nothing) and doesn't see our daughter much because he lives two and half hours away and gas is too expensive. To top it all off he hardly ever calls to talk to her because he works two jobs and he has "no time to call." My boyfriend and are hoping to move to Colorado this summer and live with my parents so that we can save money and go back to school. My ex ,even though he claims to have no money, has offered to have my daughter live with him when we move. I told him no way, so tnow I'm afraid that I do fianlly take him to court he might retailate by trying to to not let us move. I realize that this is alot to take in, but if anyone has some advice I'd be glad to hear it.
