I am considering a divorce but have major financial concerns. We have married 20 years of which i worked at home for 1/2 and owned a business the last 5. Recently filed bankruptcy due loss of business so now I have no credit. I also have very little earning power and am currently not working but looking. Bottom line is he makes 87K and i potential will only make 35K to start.
Have I been married long enough to receive alimony payments permantly and if so should I go for that opposed to child support as kids are 16 nd 14. How much can I expect to receive as alimony and/or how is this amount calculated. Any advice, similar stories, resources would be appreciated. THanks You must Login / Register to post a reply.
