Title: Am i entitled to Alimony Support?
I have only been married for 1 year and four months. I sponsored him to canada and he came here on March 12th, 2008 as a landed immigrant. He left my home about a month ago and is now working. I am seeking a divorce and wanted to know if i'm entitled to alimony support.

No. Alimony is usually not awarded in marriages of such short duration. Rather than rely on someone else to support you, you will have to go back to supporting yourself in the same manner that you did prior to your marriage a scant 16 months ago.
