http://www.alimonyreform.org / http://www.alimonyreform.org/ http: //abcnews.go.com/Business/2nd-wives-clu b-angry-tapped-alimony/story?id=9010118 Was divorced in 2000, ordered to pay $2,500 monthy pernment alimony=adult welfare. It's 10 years and OVER 250,000, that's right 2 HUNDRED 50THOUSAND DOLLARS later and she still sits on her ass refusing to work and be self supporting. I warned her about a year and half ago that business was slow and I wasn't making the money I used to and that she should get a job. Now I am making a forth of the money I used to as I am in the auto industry and I can barely make my house payment. We need to change the laws and MAKE the EXs become self supporting, there is NO excuse for this. In 10 years and a quarter of a MILLION dollars she could have chosen any career, Dr., Lawyer, ect, to become self supporting, instead she is still sitting on her self entitled ass. For some reason the court felt like you should pay $2,500 in spousal, with no stipulation that she have a paying job outside the home. Do you two have children? Being a mother is more than a full-time job. Did she support you in getting an education or growing your business? Let go of the bitterness--it's just creating negative energy that is robbing you. Drop the "weapons of war" and make peace. Remember, at one point you loved each other to commit to one another and your future children for the rest of your life.

Join coloradoalimonyreform.com. I pay $50k/year lifetime until "situations change". She cohabs, he rebuilt her house, gave her a fake job to funnel her money and benefits. I just lost $55k with a Family Law attorney trying to get an adjustment and the courts protected both of them completely. She divorced me to get this lifetime divorce retirement, and my only hope is to change the laws. Visit coloradoalimonyreform.com or to join send email to coloradoalimonyreform@yahoo.com.

Yeah, I have one of those too. Have you tried going back to court to lower the amount My question is, doesn't the court look at her monthly bills, that she will not work and then look at how much money you make and then the amount you are paying out in bills?
