(Omaha, NE,) Karen Sokolof Javitch, a well known songwriter, playwright and Omaha radio talk show host of "It's The Beat" has released her newest CD -- "Going Through the Big D".
"I wrote the lyrics and music as both a serious and parody message for women who are going through a divorce or who are well into a new part of their life in the hopes that it will provide encouragement and yes some humor to a life altering event." Javitch explains. "The title song "What Will my New Life Be Like After The D-I-V-O-R-C-E?" is filled with an upbeat message and is probably the first of its kind. I am thrilled that Grammy Award winner Chuck Pennington once again joined me in the arrangements of the 18 original songs. It is my hope that every woman around the world whose marriage ended in divorce is moved by its music and message. Having gone through a divorce myself, I would have loved for a friend or relative o give me this CD as I went through a very trying period."
"Although Divorce is no laughing matter, this cute song is light and funny. When I hear this song, I love it" commented Becki Jelinek of Omaha NE.
