Hedge funder Pierre Lagrange could face one of the biggest divorce payouts in U.K. history.

The GLG Partners co-founder is likely to split his estimated £330 million fortune with his wife, Catherine.

The couple separated last year but Lagrange filed divorce papers only last month. He called their split a "most amicable one."

Lagrange also sold his house on London's billionaire row to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovitch. Langrange bought the Kensington Palace Gardens mansion for £19 million seven years ago. Abramovitch paid £90 million for purchasing the place.

Lagrange is now reportedly dating fashion designer Roubi L'Roubi, with whom he was seen in April at the Venice Biennale.

However Lagrange denied rumors that L'Roubi was the reason for his divorce with Catherine. He told The Telegraph he only met L'Roubi after the divorce decision.

According to Lagrange, his divorce can be seen as a separation that already happened a long time ago.

He is now on the board of directors of L'Roubi's company, Asked For Designs, whose clients include St. Paul's Cathedral.
