Divorce Magazine Launches Southern Florida Edition

North America's only magazine devoted to the subject of divorce has arrived in the Sunshine State. Divorce Magazine -- an acclaimed, self-help quarterly publication already available in five other U.S. states (CA, IL, NJ, NY, and TX) as well as Canada -- will be available in the Miami to West Palm Beach areas starting on December 8. "We decided to launch a Florida edition for a couple of reasons," says Dan Couvrette, publisher and co-founder of Divorce Magazine. "First, Floridians have been requesting their own edition since we published our first issue in 1996; and second, with about 84,600 divorces a year, Florida has one of the highest divorce rates in the country." Florida's divorce rate stands at about 5.3 per 1,000 population; the national average is currently 4.0.

Now in its eighth year, Divorce Magazine features practical advice and information for people at any stage of the divorce process -- whether they’re considering, undergoing, or have already completed their divorce. From mental and physical health to new relationships, from legal and financial issues to redecorating a new home, the articles cover everything that's on people's minds when they go through this traumatic, life-changing period.
