"What is co-mediation?"

Co-mediation means having two mediators. Sometimes there may be very complex property and financial issues emerging in the sessions. These complex issues may require the expertise of another mediator, a lawyer or accountant. The mediator will suggest the benefit, and should there be an agreement by both parties, the mediator will arrange for co-mediation.

Itasha O'Gilvie is a divorce mediator with Toronto mediation firm Take 2 Mediation. She can be reached at (866) 640-4760 or (416) 628-2026. View her Divorce Magazine profile.
