"What is mediation?"

Mediation is an alternative way of resolving separation and divorce issues. It allows for parties who are willing to amicably resolve all of the questions pertaining to their divorce and separation within a forum that is not a "law" model, whereby they can be creative and design an agreement or a formula that specifically addresses their personal financial needs and the needs of their families.

What is great about mediation is that you become the author of the process. In fact, you are the co-author of a process with your spouse. You draft a separation agreement (with a mediator) that reflects exactly what the intentions are for the past, present, and future of your separation.
