There are ways to minimize the psychological and financial impact of the divorce process, and it takes a special kind of lawyer to navigate turbulent circumstances that surround such a life-altering experience. Those at Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra, L.L.P. strive to achieve just resolutions for their clients, all the while offering the encouragement and support to get their clients through such troubled times. You will find this kind of lawyer at Los Angeles-based Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra, L.L.P., one of the nation's pre-eminent family law firms. Its multifaceted team of highly trained professionals represents a broad range of clients, nationally and internationally, including high- profile celebrities in film, television, music, sports and politics, as well as wealthy business professionals and homemakers. Each case has its own set of issues and the attorneys at PLLJ give careful attention to each case, knowing that every individual's family and marital problems require the utmost consideration. The attorneys at PLLJ have achieved impressive results, including numerous landmark victories. Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra, L.L.P. recognizes that family-law matters require special handling whether they are complex marital- dissolution proceedings, paternity actions, domestic violence matters, guardianships, spousal and child support issues, child custody, or visitation disputes, (local, national and international). This focus holds especially true when children are involved because they often need special care to get through the tumultuous process of divorce. Moreover, the attorneys routinely evaluate each case's progress to provide the best strategy for every client's circumstances as they develop. If settlement talks fail, PLLJ is prepared to go to trial. Indeed, PLLJ believes in double tracking a matter — prepare for trial (or a court hearing) while trying to reach a settlement prior thereto. The attorneys and paralegals believe that the best settlement is reached if it is clear that the client is prepared to go to court. Though formidable litigators, the attorneys are also skilled negotiators with a demonstrated track record of resolving matters through mediation and other alternative dispute resolution techniques. Always at the forefront of family law, the firm participates in Collaborative Law, a newer area of alternative dispute resolution. Collabora-tive Law offers the opportunity to resolve disputes in a less adversarial atmosphere than litigation. It allows each party's needs and expectations to be better addressed than in mediation or litigation, with the goal of maintaining bonds in a blended family for the benefit of the children. Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra's highly experienced partners, associates, paralegals and energetic team of experienced assistants bring a variety of skills and expertise to the table. As part of its service, the firm seeks to match each client to the most appropriate attorney. Each of the firm's attorneys goes to great lengths to choose the most practical and viable approach to handling every case and does so on a highly personalized and individual basis.
