Larry Kahn has practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law for over 35 years and has also been a respected Family Mediator for more than 20 years. He has provided expert opinions to other family law lawyers and the Bar. Larry has extensive appellate court experience and has been called upon to give expert testimony in complex fee disputes. Larry is also one of the leading authorities on Adoption and Reproductive Technology law in the Province of British Columbia, with more than 30 years of experience in this field.

Danny Zack's daily focus for over 35 years has also been in Family Law. Danny takes a collaborative approach to conflict resolution and consensus building, with the goal of obtaining an efficient, durable resolution of family problems through negotiation and collaboration, rather than litigation, whenever possible. He has represented the Ministry of Children and Family Development (and its predecessors) in doing child protection work since 1975. As well, he practiced Criminal Law, which included criminal defense and prosecution on behalf of both the Provincial and Federal Governments. Between 1992 and 2006, he was appointed the Agent of the Attorney General for Canada in Richmond and was responsible for the prosecution of Federal matters in that city. Danny's preferred area of practice throughout his career, however, has been Family Law, and he now practices exclusively in that area.

Larry Kahn and Danny Zack are the two founding partners of this law firm and, in addition to what is outlined above, have conducted all aspects of Family Law litigation, including child protection work, since they first began practicing together in 1977.
